DUI Suspect Pleads Guilty

Yesterday, a man in Arizona plead guilty to charges of manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal injury accident. He entered into a plea bargain where charges of endangerment were dropped and will now be sentenced to a prison stay of 5 to 10 years.

The accident that left the officer dead occurred in April of 2006. The officer was riding his police motorcycle to a DUI detail when the convicted man ran a red light and collided with the police officer’s motorcycle. Sentencing will take place on January 4th.
