The crash of a Cessna 150 airplane near Fox Lake, Illinois, is currently being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration. The FAA is looking into what may have caused the aircraft to lose power some time on Sunday evening, causing it to crash into a field near a landing strip.
Fox Lake fire officials have reported that three people were the passengers of the single-engine aircraft. Fortunately, the three escaped the accident with only minor injuries.
A man and a small child were treated at the scene of the accident, and a third person was taken to a nearby hospital in McHenry, Illinois. All of the passengers are expected to make a full recovery from their injuries.
